Sandy will fight for issues most important to Kansans
As a businesswoman with an unwavering belief in American democracy, Sandy supports public policy that is driven by market-based solutions and that respects individual liberty. As our next US Senator, Sandy will put the people of Kansas first by investing in middle-class families, protecting personal freedoms, and being a responsible steward of taxpayers’ hard-earned money.
Agriculture
Sandy strongly supports an immediate reversal of tariffs, reinstating food aid programs, reopening US agricultural markets, and protecting farmers’ pocketbooks by passing right-to-repair legislation.
Healthcare
Sandy supports reinstating Medicaid funding, extending funding for ACA subsidies, keeping the government out of women’s healthcare decisions, and fighting pharmaceutical companies to reduce arbitrary and escalating drug prices – so that no one needs to choose between medicine and paying for life essentials like food and mortgages or rent.
Education
Sandy supports retaining the Department of Education as a cabinet-level agency to keep this as a top federal priority and restoring funding for special education to support children affected by disability, autism spectrum disorder, and other complex needs. She also supports enacting common-sense gun safety legislation to keep our kids and educators safe at school.
Veterans
Sandy is committed to ensuring we support veterans through comprehensive healthcare access, mental health services, and job opportunities. She believes in ensuring access to quality care in both urban and rural areas and providing workforce training programs, small-business grants for veteran entrepreneurs, and stronger protections against homelessness, including housing assistance and transition programs after service.
Economic Policy
Sandy believes in economic policies that benefit everyone, not just Trump’s family and their billionaire buddies in and outside of the U.S. She will work to restore accurate and transparent economic reporting so we can all can make informed financial decisions. She will ensure long-term financial stability by restoring programs that expand employment opportunities nationwide and drive economic growth for all.
ABOUT
Sandy Spidel Neumann’s life is a Kansas story—rooted in grit, hard work, and the belief that everyone deserves a fair shot. Born in Topeka and raised in Johnson County, she learned from her working-class parents to value integrity, fairness, and respect for all. A standout student and athlete at Shawnee Mission North, she represented Kansas at Girls Nation, where she first declared her dream to serve in the U.S. Senate.
With scholarships and determination, Sandy earned her economics degree from the University of Chicago and an MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg School while working full-time. She built a successful career in financial services while being known for breaking barriers, solving problems, and lifting others up.
Now, Sandy is running for Senate to bring that same Kansas tenacity to lowering costs, defending freedoms, protecting Social Security and Medicare, and ensuring opportunity for every Kansan.
